travel darkroom – photo feature
I met Claude Somot a couple of weeks ago – by accident – in the wonderful city of Montreal (Canada). he’s taking a year off his regular job as a teacher in France and is currently travelling in North America. Claude is a great photographer and carries all the equipment he needs with him, to develop his black and white rolls by himself. armed with a rolleilflex – medium-format – camera, preferably aiming for 6×6 portraits, he shoots strangers in the streets, employees in corner stores, but also friends and people he meets along his way.
