selfless useless selfies – #2
‘selfies’ are the most disgusting excess since evil wo(men) invented the internet.
I’ve been thinking about what to write for an hour now and the only word in my head is: ‘disgusting’…
so let’s have a look what the online dictionaries say: this week:
A selfie is a self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. Selfies are often shared on social networking services such as Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr and Twitter. They are usually flattering and made to appear casual. Most selfies are taken with a camera held at arm’s length or pointed at a mirror, rather than by using a self-timer.
well, now you know how to take a proper selfie. go ahead, be beautiful!
my idea was to take useless selfies of myself looking for mirrors wherever I go.
as a result the focus is not on my face, it’s on what surrounds me, while I’m glaring at my ridiculous appearance…
I took this picture in Argentia (Newfoundland) right before we went aboard to get back to the mainland of Canada.
(find the napping guy)
16 hours later I took another selfie of me and my buddy, but focused on the empty seats beyond the mirror to cover the drunken blurriness
after an endless trip through the North Atlantic Ocean.
